For a show of this caliber and so oriented on international issues, I am appalled to hear the "French " minister Dubois speak French with such an atrocious accent! French is my native tongue and I can't understand a word he says! Even a French Canadian would do a better job and they have a hell of an accent... That was one thing I loved (among many others) about Lost: actors from all over the world joining in to convey a true internationality. My fear here is that Madam Secretary will stick to a pretense of dealing with international issues while really only surfing above them and delivering the American mundane point of view. In short, I was hoping for a show that would excite intelligence and I only see another self-congratulating Murican spiel. Hope they will prove me wrong!
