Another Hrishikesh Mukherjee good comedy
6 November 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Hrishikesh Mukherjee gave us several great comedies like Golmaal, Naram Garam,Rang Bhirangi which starred Amol Palekar and were low budget yet great entertainers. Kisi Si Na Kehna is one of HM's last films as a director after which he took a break and came back in 1998 with Jhoote Bole Kauwa Kaate This film is too is reminiscent to Golmaal, in that film Utpal Dutt resented people without moustache, here he hates girls who speak English,of course he isn't against the language but the way it has gaiend undue importance in India and people have forgotten their culture.

The film is treated in his inimitable style and makes you laugh, the characters are not carricatures but look believable. The film does have deja-vu feeling but yet it's watchable and likable

Direction is superb Music is good

Farooque Sheikh is admirable and plays his part with ease,Deepti Naval too is fab, their chemistry is as good as in Chashme Badhoor and other films Utpal Dutt yet again is superb though he played such roles too often Deven verma too endears himself as always, though he gets less scope Saeed Jaffrey is superb, S.N.Banerjee is hilarious rest are okay
