Review of D-Day to Victory

Am i missing something about this show but where the Americans involved in the Normandy invasion? Not by this show, it was a Canadian and British affair, I guess the Americans were somewhere but not Normandy, RIGHT. The first show, showed Americans but every show to date, it's always the same former American soldier saying at the beginning, "democracy, apple pie, ice cream, that's bull, that bull", and no one else. Since America had nothing to do with the invasion or the fighting why should I keep watching. If there's a show on the Battle of the Buldge, Americans had nothing to do with that either. I won't be watching D-Day to Victory anymore and took it off my DVR record series.
