What makes this show different makes all the difference. It feels gritty and real, not like a t.v. show but more like a real investigation. I do wish at times it went more in depth and allowed the viewers to hear more from Chad and John about their thoughts on the places they visit, as there are moments it feels like the network is pulling the strings and making them say certain things. That's not the fault of these two great researchers and their no-holds barred, realistic approach. When Chad gets scared, it's REAL. It takes immense bravery to show that emotion in front of a national audience. He and John are great foils for each other. The locations are fascinating.
