The show could be interesting but it is destroyed by pathetic attempts, at every turn, to introduce tension. Daunting music, descriptions of potential disaster at every turn, OMG, can they make it? It gets very predictable.
I realize that moving a house is a serious matter but the show artificially inflates the sense of danger. The professionals aren't "rolling the dice", they know what they are doing.
I think someone thought that, in order to keep people tuned in, the show had to be become a drama. In reality, moving a big building is a highly technical endeavor but if it is as dangerous as the producers try to make it appear, cities wouldn't issue permits and insurance companies wouldn't offer coverage.
