The story of a painter who draws portraits of women. And, as you can guess in this kind of series, he becomes obsessed by those paintings. His beautiful wife feels something unusual in his behaviour with her and their relatives. She believes that the woman on the portrait is her rival. A woman he has never met in his whole life. A friend of his gives him an advice to forget all those paintings for nuts and focusing on something more financially interesting. I won't spoil the story further but it is worth watching. and I was pleased to see Peter Wyngarde in his earliest performances, and he was damn good. Perfect for this eerie atmosphere series. You'll probably find something of LAURA, a sort of perfume, in this tale.
