The show depicts exactly how difficult it can be to get anything done in the amazon. Getting anything done in this area is a real challenge at any time of the year. Not knowing or understanding the language and the diverse cultures of the people in this vast area is the main problem of anyone getting anything done. Iquitos can be a tough town to find what anyone needs to start building. To get around on the upper amazon area Is just as difficult as shown in the episodes. Most of the characters are real with the exception of Juan being a little too "creative". Great show, hope it comes back for season two to see if they succeeded building the entire lodge and get some people to enjoy the area.
