As a 90's kid I enjoyed to see an innovative plot not explaining how villains became who they are but, how things evolve to let their children be who they want to be (typical Disney cliché but still).
I only disconnect myself with details like how Aurora's mother is blonde in the original story but not in the movie, or why Carlos has to be Latin when we didn't we any clues in the authentic version.
I would love to see more about the offspring of the royalty, perhaps a series where the audience can dig more in the idiosyncrasy of each family, but overall I really enjoyed watching a cliché but different Disney movie.
