Review of This Land Is Mine

I'm a fan of Nina Paley works, Sita Sings the Blues is one of my favourite films. This short movie kind of reminds me with its themes of the Pearl Jam animated video-clip Do the Evolution. Do the Evolution is more intense and raw, This Land Is Mine is more poetic and artsy, but I like them both. Although This Land Is Mine seems to be more about Israel specifically, I think we can transpose the message of the world in general too. Pat Boone's song, cover by Andy Williams, fit well the message. I didn't seen Exodus, where is song is took from, so I can't make comparisons. I could totally see this as a part of a bigger feature.
