The Flash: Legends of Today (2015)
Season 2, Episode 8

Another great crossover
2 December 2015
I have a weakness for The Flash/Arrow crossovers. I find them very entertaining, and I think they are doing a great job of mixing the two worlds.

In this we have three. Because this is some kind of introduction to the new series "Legends of Tomorrow" (the title says it), that will continue with Arrow's next episode.

So we center on the character of Hawkgirl, who is going to be one of the principal characters in the new series. A very mean looking bad guy (with the pointy beard and all) named Vandal Savage (you have to love that name) appears in the city, with one objective in mind: killing Hawkgirl. Cisco is having a nice evening out with Kendra, when Vandal Savage appears from nowhere and tries to kill them. The Flash appears and saves the day, but he has the feeling that something strange is going on, so he asks for help to team Arrow.

And well, I love both those teams working together. Cisco, Barry, Felicity, Oliver... have great chemistry together and make for a great time in front of the screen. And the introduction of... well, magic, to say it simply, is done in a great and cool way. It may sound all very crazy, and suspension of disbelief would be easy to lose with these kind of episodes, but no, they are doing a great job (some weak dialogues apart) and convince us that all three worlds can coexist together.

I, for one, can't wait for the rest of the crossover. And for the new series. And for The Flash to keep the high quality that has. Lots of fun.
