The Return of Fan Favorite Lucifer

I was very excited to see the Tweets and promo videos that Mark Pelligrino would once again take on the role of Lucifer. The episode was full of great moments.

The episode had some great interactions with Rowena and Crowley. I am not a big Rowena fan, but she was better in this episode. She created the spell to bring Lucifer out of the suspended cage and into a grounded one. She also had a starstruck feeling for "the original dark prince." Crowley also had a slight fear the whole episode, which was beautifully done by Mark Sheppard. Dean and Amara had some great scenes as well. She believes of a longing for him and that they become one. She seemed less evil, more lost. She wants to quarrel with God and God only which was unexpected since the whole 1st episode makes her seem like a villain. The best scenes by far were between Lucifer and Sam. Lucifer never misses a beat to respond with a witty remark. He is still trapped, but the way he acts is as if he is free. Lucifer puts on a sly act and truly makes Sam believe what he need him too. Even as a viewer, I don't know what is a lie and what was not.

The ending was excellent and a great cliffhanger for the long wait until the conclusion. The tears from Sam's eyes were tear jerking and Lucifer's smile was an excellent end.

I wish I could give higher than a 10. The episode was almost perfect. I just wish that Cas could have made an appearance even a small one
