This TV series is great. But "Heart of Gold" kills off every sympathy for our beloved characters. I hated all the whore-house-stuff, the main characters act like little children here. I liked Zoe and Wash the most in this episode.
I know that some (or many) people love sex-sells - but to me it has no added value at all. Mal didn't even know Nandi and his 'decision' to sleep with her is just disappointing. I know that he's a man and I know that Nandi is a desirable woman, but it doesn't fit to his character.
All in all "Heart of Gold" is not a super bad episode, but a very disappointing and frustrating one. I didn't enjoy it as much as the other ones.
