If you like documentaries then this is a must-see film. Made on a shoestring (roughly $2500)and shot in the most intimate yet respectful style I've ever seen, it tells the contemporary story of a young transgender/transsexual person trying to become whole.
The story itself is both heartwarming and instructive The filmmaker is able to show the audience something significant and meaningful about the transgendered without being pushy, preachy, or invasive. He manages to show the audience what's important about the story without violating the privacy of the subject or speaking for her.
