6/10
A Bad one, and a Great one
14 February 2016
OK, Let me get this straight. I do NOT hate Pre-Movie Spongebob. In fact, I think it's better than Post-Movie Spongebob. Now that's out of the way, let me discuss why I give this pair a 6 out of 10.

First, Jellyfishing starts with a pretty good scene of Spongebob and Patrick getting ready for jelly-fishing! After playing that, it turns into a annoying scene when after Spongebob and Patrick asks Squidward if he wants to play Jellyfishing,he crashes his bike off a cliff. And how is that funny? I'm still clueless to that question. Then lets cut into a gag, that was actually good! They used phones in the same room, to call each other. But it clearly didn't make any sense, well because that green wallpaper was never used again in Spongebob's house. Then when Squidward arrives home, we cut to a hell of a annoying scene when Spongebob and Patrick doing shenanigans to make Squidward's day the "Best" day ever for him... But that clearly doesn't work because, they're idiots. And it was painfully predictable. Then 60 seconds of nothing happening. Then they get to the gag where Patrick says "Firmly grasp it" over and over, and then jabbing the jelly-fishing net into Squidward's hand. A great line, but a painful visual. Then, BIG JELLYFISH, because potatoes. Or probably a lazy way to end this spoiled episode. Then Squidward gets his revenge by unleashing a jellyfish to sting Spongebob and Patrick, leaving on the sort of positive way to end.

In conclusion, Jelly-fishing was mediocre in the story, and bad on the comedy, and rancid on the annoyance level. So, this episode is a unrefrigerated, and a little spoiled lunch meat.
