Arizona comes to town
6 March 2016
After many years, Arizona (Peter Lee Lawrence) comes to the town where his father used to live. The farm he owned was taken over by the rich land-owner Styles, and almost the whole town belongs to Styles as well. Arizona doesn't get along well with Styles' men, and after several brawls, shoot-outs and arguments, Styles hires Towers, a professional gun-man, to get rid of the unwelcome stranger...

Mediocre western from the time when the huge Italian western wave came to its end (1972). The audience had seen the same type of story a dozen times before, and the production was obviously very cheap. Bruno Nicolai's music is recycled from earlier movies, I believe. It doesn't help that the script is a bit too talkative and slows down the action. Peter Lee Lawrence, the only star in the cast, plays the hero quite well. Also the direction by Juan Bosch aka John Wood makes the best out of the budget. Not bad, just very modest.
