Having initially read the several negative reviews here, I was beginning to wonder whether we'd all watched the same film. I was not expecting much, because the TV guide only gave it one star, but those star ratings have been wrong before -- and they're wrong this time, too! The movie deserved three stars, definitely.
As for Danica McKellar, this is the first time I've seen her since The Wonder Years and to begin with I didn't recognise her. Then, after a few minutes, I began to think, yes, I have seen this actress somewhere before, and suddenly that cute smile came back from so many years ago. She's a total stunner now.
The movie was fairly predictable, and there were a few loose ends. But watch out for SPOILERS in what follows next! Loose ends like the black cop who from the outset seemed to want to bang her up for life without a trial, so convinced was he that she was the perp. I wondered whether he had an ulterior motive. As afternoon TV movies go, this was above average and, boy, have I seen some total dross. This movie, however, IS worth your time!
