Full House: Mad Money (1988)
Season 1, Episode 21
7/10
Danny vs Joey.

Warning: Spoilers
Every set of best friends have their moments of bitterness. This episode does just that with Joey and Danny, but it is inferior to other episodes of the same issue in later years.

Joey's mother found an old savings bond of his that is now worth lots of money. He blows almost all of it right away. Danny is expecting Joey to repay an old debt from eleven years before. Joey obviously forgot, and tries to give Danny the remaining money from his bond which is about the same amount in his debt. Danny doesn't want the money, he wanted Joey to offer it back. I see where Danny is coming from, but that is honestly a dumb move that does not serve the episode well. They fight about letting the other guy have it. If I were Danny, I'd keep it. Danny is good with money, so he can endorse it and do whatever. After all, he deserves it. Obviously Danny gets it by the end.

The episode's subplot involves Jesse taking a job as an Elvis impersonator. We see him doing his thing and it is really cool. This is probably the highlight of the episode.
