The People vs O.J. Simpson: Manna from Heaven (2016)

The defense, the D.A. and Judge Ito learns that star witness Mark Fuhrman recorded an audio tape where there's some very bad stuff said that will effect that outcome of the trial.

To say this is the best episode in an already great series would be an understatement. The Fuhrman moment stands out in regards to the original trial and there's no doubt that the screenwriters, the director and the producers knew that this would make the most dramatic moment for the series and they milk the Fuhrman stuff for every inch of drama that they can. They might milk the drama but it's perfectly done and leads to some of the most intense and dramatic moments of the series and you might argue it made for some of the best acting you'll see from any series period.

As this series winds down it's becoming clear that there's some of the greatest casting that you're ever going to witness. Everyone really gets to show off their talents as an actor here including a heartfelt performance by Sterling K. Brown as Darden and we even get to see a different type of emotion from John Travolta and Courtney B. Vance. Even Sarah Paulson gets to show off a new side to the character.

If you remember the real moment in time when Fuhrman took the stand then you know how captivating it was. This episode perfectly captures that but adds so much more with everything that was going on behind-the-scenes. Now I do question the authenticity of a few things here but this is a docu-drama and not a documentary.

Episode: A+
