House's season finales have always been known for having great cliffhangers and/or plot twists, e.g.: the season finale for the 5th season, 'Both Sides Now' in which House hooks up with Cuddy one night and she forgets her lipstick in his place and he keeps playing with the lipstick throughout the entire episode, when it was actually a bottle of Vicodin and the Cuddy thing was a hallucination. In my opinion that was the sickest plot twist ever played by a TV show!
But when it comes to season 7's finale, I can say that it could have been better. When the episode started, with Cuddy speaking to that officer, I instantly figured out that House did something very wrong... But I could never have imagined that he did what he actually did! I mean, House may be mad, or in pain, but he would never hurt other people physically just to feel better about himself. Perhaps that was exactly what the writers wanted me to think, perhaps that was the 'plot twist' of this season finale... And if any of this is true, they have succeeded, because even when House was staring at Cuddy's dining room, I still wasn't thinking that he would just throw his car through her window into her dining room! Another thing I gotta say: although the House and Cuddy and Wilson was great (as always), I couldn't care less about that stupid artist! What a boring case! That was the down side of this episode. But for me, it was a great season finale... Now I'll definitely go stream that final season hoping for a great series finale (I've already gotten some spoilers :/).
