I admit that I thought this was going to be a half hour special because that was the way Cartoon Network promoted it. It wasn't a special at all, but just a regular episode. That being said, it was still great. The singing bits made the episode as that was the main focus of it. It was so weird and funny to see Flame Princess dressed in casual clothes. Marceline killed me with her great singing voice and how far she was willing to go for her act.
This show always has weird stuff and the thing that happens at the end is of course no exception. I admit it doesn't make sense, but it certainly comes off as heartwarming. I do like the idea of everyone working hard just to cheer Finn up. It's been too long since there has been a new episode and while I certainly don't enjoy seeing new episodes of "The Amazing World Of Gumball", we would want more variety. Yep, the new Powerpuff girls isn't getting any better. ***1/2
