Review of Tomorrow, When the War Began

i had watched the film, however not read the book i heard that they are definitely worth a read. i think that this show had a lot of possible roads that they could have gone down i.e. they could have followed on from the movies or created a different story line. i think that it was a waste for it to just simple be relatively similar to the film because as i watched it i felt like i knew what was going to happen and i didn't get the feeling of suspense that i was given by it the first time round. i did think that if i hadn't watched the movie before hand though i think that this would have been a more enjoyable series. overall i would recommend it but don't expect to be blown away if you have watched the movie/read the book
