A must see movie about a must see band!
19 July 2016
Fantastic movie! I started listen to Twisted Sister when I was 3 years old, my aunt introduced them to me and I was hooked! One of my first memories I have is when I asked my aunt to give me a full makeup just like Dee Snider, and I felt like the coolest girl on earth! During the years I've read and heard much about the band, but I was completely amazed by this movie! What a struggle, it's amazing how much Twisted Sister have been through during those first years, to get where they are today. I bought the movie to support the band and to enjoy the extra material, even if the movie could be seen on Netflix. I wanted to own it so I can watch it whenever I want to, and I've seen it four times so far. I think this is a must see movie - regardless of how much of a SMF you are. It's breathtaking to see how dedicated the band was, to see how they struggled despite amounts of setbacks. They never gave up because they believed in what they were doing. However, one thing is certain - they had support and love from the audience! I really wish I could have been there during the early years, traveling from town to town just to experience the show. I've only seen Twisted Sister twice because of struggle getting a babysitter for my kids, I had more chances to see them and it hurts to think about that now. But I'm actually gonna travel to another country very soon just to see Twisted Sister live one last time (I'm totally aiming for the front row). It's sad that the story of Twisted Sister is coming to an end, but I'm really proud to be a part of it - being a SMF. Watch this movie now everyone, I'll promise you will love it!
