The truth and nothing but the truth

The truth is out there was a fun interesting idea to blend to genres together to create a heartfelt, funny and scary episode. The warlock Gavin was a unique warlock to introduce as he had a third eye that appears to kill his victims while looking like an ordinary man and from a future where a vaccine was created to wipe his mind out. Though it never goes into details about the virus I wonder if season eight's hocus pockus was the developmental stage for it since it only effected magical creature. Also I thought it was smart for Prue to caste a truth spell to find out how Andy feels without risky exposure.

The comedy elements are gold from Piper telling her demanding boss Martian off only to have to repeat it and get a raise after twenty four hours or Phoebe who can't help herself from commenting on her sisters fashion choices. Its interesting to note is why an untruth spell was never tried. I know it says until a certain time has passed but they have found loopholes before, but then again it could backfire and create a lie spell instead.

Another issue I enjoyed was seeing Andy deal with the supernatural as he freaks out realistically from a demonstration of his girlfriend's power and his justified break up since he wants a normal life without the extra worry of danger coming from demons. If only there were two sets of protection rings like Victor's to spare. Still its was to say that by the time Andy is ready to accept it and Prue gets her desired result he will die. This episode screams a great fan fiction that was produced to a grateful and delightful audience.
