In Search Of... "Aztec Conquest" (1981)
Montezuma was the leader of the Aztec people but he put too much faith in Spanish Conquistador Cortez who was taken as a God with disastrous results. This here certainly isn't the greatest episode in the series but if you're a fan then there's plenty of entertainment to be had from it. It seems season six is becoming more of a history lesson as the "mystery" aspect has been removed and instead we're given a lesson on the subjects. There's certainly nothing wrong with this change but it was clear that the series was trying something new with their ratings slipping after the previous season. The story told here is certainly fascinating and the re-enactments were also quite good.
