Aged Well.

Warning: Spoilers
I watched the first episode back in 2005 and I was just a kid back then.

Now I'm 16 years old, and feeling out of nostalgia I decided to find the movie and watched it again.

Ignition has a few problems but it has actually aged well with a huge fan-base backing Acceleracers, the World Race was all kid-friendly but Acceleracers has a gritty tone that attracts adults even if it was only made for children.

Taking place two years into the future, The World Race drivers have resorted to joining gangs to continue their passion for racing. Two of these gangs is the Teku and the Metal Manics.

There's a murder plot in the beginning with Nolo trying to ram Tork off the railing for revenge for the death of his brother Tone that Tork supposedly committed but Wild intervenes due to an ego he has, this results in Nolo's and Tork's cars crashing but Wild almost runs over Gig and crashes his car. The other former World Race leaders (winch they are split up in the two gangs) check to see they are OK. They speak to Gig who tells them that Dr. Tesla needs their help to fight the drones again but the drivers are dismayed because they didn't get what they asked for in World Race. Gig persuades them and they eventually accept. And a journey begins when Kadeem (a world race driver) goes missing in a race with Tesla appearing to hide something that brings a new threat to the table.

This film has a great soundtrack it really brings some good tension in some scenes.

Cons: There's usually an attempt at humour in the series with the character "Monkey" but it just looks unidiomatic due to having no style nor appetite. To be honest it's weird and distracting.
