Inspector Lynley is a series I discovered only recently, and it's one of the fine British police/detective dramas from the noughties that didn't get decent runs. Inspector Lynley deserved more than six series. Just like Rosemary and Thyme and also The Last Detective. These fine series deserved more. Due respect to The Bill, but really, please more Inspector Lynley!
