I'm a huge fan of M*A*S*H. I wasn't so much a fan of the movie (Donald Sutherland, Elliott Gould, Sally Kellerman, et al) but the series for me just lives on and on. It really is a series that could make you laugh and cry in one episode.
I was so thrilled to watch the 30th anniversary reunion, and seeing the cast back. Unfortunately Larry Linville (Frank Burns) and McLean Stevenson (Henry Blake) passed away before their time, and at the end of the documentary Alan Alda paid tribute to them. It's hard to believe the 30th anniversary was in 2002. We're now approaching the 45th anniversary, so maybe another reunion should be planned before too long. Sadly Harry Morgan (Colonel Potter) is no longer with us.
