Warning: Spoilers
EL CISCO is a cheapo western from Sergio Bergonzelli, who directed some fairly interesting pictures like IN THE FOLDS OF FLESH and BLOOD DELIRIUM during his career. This isn't one of them. The film only boasts a couple of recognisable actors and the rest is a mere mish-mash of western themes and ideas.

William Berger, best known for playing an old-timer in various films directed by Antonio Margheriti and others in the 1970s, plays the titular character as your usual avenging gunslinger who comes back from the dead and has a run-in with your usual troupe of bandits and bad guys. George Wang makes for a very convincing Mexican character, but he's about the only convincing thing in an otherwise silly story that never really knows what it wants to be: a spoofy comedy or serious Leone-style outing.
