Revenge: Duplicity (2011)
Season 1, Episode 4

continues to be great

Show continues to be great. Emily VanCamp gives a magnificent performance as Lady Vengeance. This does make her a dark, somber heroine (inwardly), admittedly I have to get used to that, but it is excellent, superbly filmed, and the show sure lives up to its reputation. I would just like to echo what so many before me has said, little Emily, as young Amanda, she is just absolutely perfect. I haven't checked her out here or on Wikipedia, but I'm quite sure she's gonna hit Hollywood by storm in the near future!

The little touches are just marvelous: That big imposing house, like a whale, dwarfing the impudent sneaky opponent, the dog, to illustrate the softer side of Emily Thorne. And I loved the swing scene with Charlotte (Christa B. Allen, a joy to behold).

I can't help thinking though, what the hell, 89 episodes! How? This particular premise can't last four seasons! It will get strung out like cheap bubblegum. But for now, the First Season promises to be just great.
