Warning: Spoilers
Wally has a double date with Eddie, Beaver will be hanging out with friends, and they're both wrong—they have a prior engagement: cleaning up the yard. And if they work hard they should be done by about one o'clock. Just in time to call Mr. Peck to come and haul away the trash.

Eddie shows up with Lumpy to drag Wally off. Richard shows up to pick up Beaver. Nice try guys but Ward is adamant. He doesn't care if he's playing the heavy here. Both boys are doing pretty well until they find an old baseball and have a pick-up game of catch. Next Beaver is trying to balance a rake. Then they find an old bow and arrow set and create a new game. Things are progressing but slowly. The call that was supposed to go Mr. Peck at one doesn't get placed until two-thirty. There Is a good chance Ward might be a little upset to come home to find a pile of junk sitting there in the yard. And it is a big pile.

Eddie and Lumpy return to get Wally (brother wolf—Eddie apparently sees the three of them as lady killers). Eddie figures they might use Lumpy's car to haul everything and they'll do it for three dollars. They get the car loaded and off goes Lumpy to the dump. But on the way Eddie spies a vacant lot. Why go all the way to the dump. Who cares if there is a sign there saying no dumping allowed.

Ward happily pays Eddie and Lumpy the three dollars they asked for. Who doesn't like a bargain. Until the doorbell rings and a Mr. Hill arrives. He's upset as a load of trash was dumped on his vacant lot. Easy to trace as the magazines had Ward's address. Ward tells Eddie and Lumpy they need to get there in the morning and clean up the mess. Wally and Beaver also get to go along. They were accessories in a way: had they done the job in time then Mr. Peck would have been there to haul everything away.

The following day the boys all show up and everything gets picked up. Mr. Hill stayed to supervise the operation. Everything was fine until they were leaving the dump. A town supervisor showed up and got upset. He thought the boys were trying to steal Lumpy's car from the dump.
