Molly Ringwald and Patrick Dempsey are both huge 80's icons, so them teaming up for this forgettable film when I imagine their careers had taken a turn downwards made sense.
And to be fair, they are the best things in this film by a long way. Ringwald looks gorgeous and Dempsey has all the best lines. However they are let down by a plodding script, and backed up by 2D supporting characters/performances from their co-stars. The less said about Donnie the better.
It's a shame, because not only did this film's premise have potential, but it starred two good actors.
