AND THE SAME TO YOU is a slightly below par British farce chiefly of interest for the familiar faces in the cast. It features the reliably silly Brian Rix playing an expert pugilist who masquerades as a man of the cloth for various contrived reasons. The story is then basically a comedy of errors with various factions interacting and trying to remain on top of the game. Rix has less screen time than expected and sometimes feels like a supporting character in his own film, but William Hartnell is on top form as the unscrupulous manager and the likes of Tommy Cooper, Sid James, Miles Malleson and Vera Day shine.
