2/10
Loud, annoying and amateurish

Warning: Spoilers
"Worst Film Ever (Christmas Special)" is a 15-minute live action short film from the holidays 2014, so still a relatively new movie and this one is directed by George Miller, not the talented one behind Mad max, but the untalented one behind Human Cake. So yeah what can you say about this film. First of all, lets take a look at the title. They chose this title by obviously making fun of their own lack of talent in a way where they got people to believe the title was not real and they actually had talent. And looking at this film and its rating here on IMDb, it looks to me as if quite a few actually fell for it. Disappointing. Then again, people seem to see class in Miller's film that simply is not existent, also true for the one I mentioned earlier. So ask yourself, is this film better than Citizen Kane or the Godfather movies? I think the answer is obvious. This film is not even better than than an amateurish home-made garbage film. Because this is exactly what it is. Some fake blood, constant screaming, a gun and just a huge mess of a film. The argument "does not take itself seriously" may be true, but only applies to some extent as with this degree of garbage in terms of story-telling and production values, it is just not a film anybody should see. The actors are another example here. They clearly hide their lack of range by going shamelessly over the top as if they were cartoon characters and try to take the serious note away from it this way. None of them will have a long career in the industry, only very few will have a short career. This film is the epitome of talentlessness. Stay far far away. Then again with films like this one getting millions of views on Youtube, the good news is really that everybody can become a social media phenomenon these days, regardless of how stupid and bland they are. Or how stupid and bland their movies are. Just like this one here.
