While the basic premise of this episode is engaging, one of the most formidable units on the face of the earth act like idiots when faced with combat. I'm sorry. When you watch a man shoot another man in the back of the head and you have numerous opportunities to kill him, you let him take a hostage, kill another person, all because you feel you have to engage the person face to face. In my home town there is a story. It may be myth. We had a guy who became a police officer despite being quite an incompetent. One day he was pursuing some kids who had broken a store window. Supposedly, he shouted, "Stop, or I'll shoot over your heads." That seems to be the philosophy of this group. At the end, the young officer gets the jump on a horrible man who has just killed a poor guy who came through the door and now threatens a stroke victim. What does she do? With a trained killer. She goes up and tries to cuff him. Of course, he still has a gun. Whatever happened to, "Put down the gun or I'll shoot." Terrible comedown for what could have been a solid episode. By the way, there are three or four more idiotic events as well.
