Fidaa (2017): Who wouldn't have expectations on Sai Pallavi and Shekar Kamula combo.Sai Pallavi is heartthrob for all the youngsters after Premam. She is mostly known as Malar. She has great fan following all over South India even though she has acted in two Malayalam films till now.Now its her entry to Tollywood which was already successful as reviews have been positive and Sai Pallavi is being appreciated a lot.So how is Fidaa? Plot: Varun (Varun Tej), a NRI, lands in rural village in Telangana to attend the wedding ceremony of his brother (Raja) and meets Bhanumathi (Sai Pallavi), the bride's sister. They get attracted to each other and start finding out about themselves.Due to a misunderstanding, they part ways on a bad note. Though he likes her, she hates him for some incident.Months later, Bhanumathi comes to USA to see her pregnant sister. Will they fall in love this time? Does the story end on happier note?

My Review: Sai Pallavi is the major attraction of the film.Right from the first frame, she mesmerizes you completely. Be it her looks, Telangana accent and the way she carries the emotional scenes, she is a show stealer. It is so impressive that she got the Telugu language with Telangana slang so perfectly. Her dance moves in Vachinde song are awesome.Anybody can easily go fidaa over her.She is Tollywood's new heartthrob.

Shekar Kammula has selected ages old love story between two youngsters belonging to different backgrounds and their love-hate-love cycle.Even the movie is so clichéd,it still is entertaining only because of performances and dialogues.Shekar Kammula quite failed in second half as a story writer but his dialogues are entertaining throughout the film.

Music of the film is very good.Songs like "Vachinde","Hey Pllagada" and "Oosu Podu" are nice to hear. They are visually mesmerizing.

First half of the movie has lot of fun moments. All the moments between Varun and Bhanumathi are cute and filled with wit.

Second half is the major drawback as it gets repetitive with dull scenes.Even though Sai Pallavi's performances engages us,still the movie lost its charm in second half.

So,Fidaa is Sai Pallavi's show all the way with her terrific performance.A One Time Watch My rating 6.5/10
