As Team Rocket are my favorite characters in the anime, you can't go wrong with an episode focusing on them. This is also notable is that it celebrates Kid's Day, a holiday only in Japan. A lot of Westerners were confused by this. Here, every day is Children's Day! How do those Japanese think they are? Anyway, this is really a sweet episode as it has Jessie and James outright say that they don't want to crush children's dreams...at least not yet. This episode features a kid telling about a wild Meowth that saved him from a Beedrill. It's rare we see Meowths other than, well, Meowth.
It was also quite sweet to see the actual wild Meowth appear at the end. Okay, a Meowth that can slice through boulders with a single kick is awesome no matter how you look at it. In the end, Meowth's glad he didn't have to keep the charade up. Besides, Jessie and James obviously need him more! It was just nice to see all these cute kids in the episode. The teacher that kept yelling was hilarious too. ****
