Jump Scares? What show are you watching? Is this show great? No, but it is better than the "horror" series MTV puts out. You won't find any angst ridden werewolves trying to decide if going to the prom is too dangerous to their unrequited love interest. You do get story lines based on paranoia and distrust since, SPOILER WARNING - the people who live here are different than those who pass through. Three episodes in and it still seems interesting, but I have been burned by shows like this before. My vote, entertaining but don't get too attached to the characters.
