The producers should have taken a closer look at "The Science of Stupid", the Brit version of this fails conglomeration. It was hosted for 4 seasons by Richard Hammond, a soft voiced, (smiling-on-demand-not-as-a-bad-habit) Brit favourite. Besides having a top quality commentator, it didn't belabour the point by showing each fail multiple times. It also explained why the fails occurred, showing the right and the wrong way to do things. A much classier programme altogether, and well worth a trip to YouTube to check out how a fails programme can be run without failing!
