With Lea Thompson's Caroline caught up in the rather dull story line involving the young vet it's up to the supporting characters to provide the laughs in another so-so episode of the show.
Richard's issues with his neighbours were funny, if let down slightly by a predictable final joke, but it is the story with Annie and guest star David Hyde Pierce of 'Frasier' fame that is the talking point of this episode. He absolutely shines, and steals the episode out right.
