Review – The Mind Machine 9 This is the first of a few inventions to come along created by reasonable men for the good of mankind. This was probably the best thought story to coincide with a scientific creation that didn't have a dubious professor behind its origin. The story is plausible, the character actors were familiar, the recurring Planet cast is there, but Jim Olson. A plot with a Senate hearing on crime set in the early fifties, the perpetrators of the crimes were present and in action, Superman was using his feats of strength, with the four stunt men helping George Reeves, and Lois was in typical snippy form. I can think of the robots, and the other inventions that appeared to be of no practical use, along with some inventor characters that could be forgotten quite easily or should be forgotten altogether. This was well done by all and was pulled off as not too hokey, keeping in mind its audience eventually was for children. There nothing like a kid getting all wrapped up in Senate hearings on crime with Superman coming to the rescue. Seriously, watch and enjoy how Superman handles the bad guys in all sorts of venues.
