Writer/director Shaun Costello relates the enjoyable and engrossing plot at a brisk pace, makes nice use of gritty New York City locations, ably crafts a strong erotic atmosphere, and even offers an astute and poignant central point on the bitter price men pay for neglecting their spouses. The bevy of hot ladies featured in the assorted steamy vignettes provide plenty of extra spice and sizzle: Stunning brunette Veronica Hart, lusty Latina Vanessa Del Rio, sultry Merle Michaels, toothsome blonde Serena, the always enticing Samantha Fox, and attractive Christie Ford (the latter perfectly cast as a foxy maid). Moreover, several reliable Golden Age adult cinema guys acquit themselves well in supporting parts: Bobby Astyr contributes a hilarious turn as a sleazy dentist, Gordon G. Duvall likewise amuses as a no-nonsense porn director, and George Payne and Dave Ruby rise to the occasion with laudable gusto as a pair of hunky hardhats who tag team Michaels.
