Jackie, a shy columnist friend of Oscar's has a great singing voice but will not perform in public, is wanted by Felix to be in his opera group's next show. She has a crush on Oscar and will only sing if he is in the show too.
A pretty good episode and a nice showcase for opera great Marilyn Horne. The most interesting part of the show is she plays the character of Jackie and not herself. She does an excellent job and one of funniest bits is when she calls Felix "Skinny" and tells him she is going to sing and act the part HER way. We hear her magnificent voice singing from "Carmen" and she also does "People" from "Funny Girl" when Oscar asks her to sing something he can understand the words to.
