SARTANA KILLS THEM ALL is one of the better spaghetti westerns that I've seen from director Rafael Romero Marchent, a man who typically directs below-par potboilers for the masses. This film has no connection to the SARTANA series despite the title, but it does have an interesting storyline and a pair of anti-heroes who are pretty decent in the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid mould. Gianni Garko is the nominal lead, teaming up with a buddy to hunt for stolen gold. Our two heroes might be bad guys, but those they meet are even worse, leading to plenty of violent action and some tense moments. The extended encounter with the evil old father and his four psycho sons makes for the best part of this spaghetti.
