Omar climbs the wall with a rope everyday, he works in a bakery, and he also is a freedom fighter. The reasons for him to climbs the wall so frequently are politics and love. After they kill a soldier, they start getting in trouble and involve with police officers. Omar is a poor guy, he is been betrayed by his friends and forced to be a traitor. He kills his friend accidentally, loses his girl and human rights. The most touchable scenes for me is he falls from the wall many times; He is crying and looks so weak compare to the 8 meters height wall. Comparing to the beginning, he can climbs the wall fast, even with his two hands bloody, but he still seems happy after doing it. I think just because Omar loses his friends, Nadia and he is controlled by the officer, he does not have courage anymore; and he can not think a reason for him to climbs the wall again.
