Snapshots (III) (2009)
5/10
Could've done more

Snapshots, directed by Kate Barker-Froyland and Andres Rosende, goes to some ways that i don't like to see on a short. Instead of trying to make something different from what is being made on cliché TV movies, this film just follows a saturated and overused central idea of plot: different stories happening on a space with characteristics in common. What these stories are about? Relationships, love, meetings, break ups, etc. What really put this movie down, however, is his cinematography and the acting. Even have some nice lines to work on, the stars are really underwhelming the most of the time. The cinematography direction, on other side, presents another level of amateurism. The color work is so bad that i even thought that the problem would be on my computer or something like that. Then, why did i rate it with a 5/10? See, even with those embarrassing mistakes, we have some pretty beautiful moments here. Seems like the crew tried hard on 50% of the movie. With more projects and experience, they can make way better stuff.
