Villan is a flop show from beginning till the very end. There is not even a single element that keeps you engaging in this movie. Mohanlal does his part well as usual. Sadly, his one-man show was not enough to make any impact.
The director categorized this film as an 'emotional dark thriller'. I would classify this as a utterly boring movie with a senseless script. The director tried to make the film more emotional by portraying extensive scenes between Mohanlal and Manju. Sorry to say, it didn't work at all. Coming to the cast, Vishal and Hansika looks completely clueless; Rashi looks gorgeous, but has very little to offer. The film ensemble a a very talented cast, but the script and story let everything down.
In short, Villan is 2:30 hrs of (ZERO entertainment + verbal torture + boring + no thrills + Mohanlal).
