Happy Hunting: Following a drug deal gone wrong , a drifter suffering from drug and alcohol withdrawal tries to go cold turkey in a desert town. Pursuing pushers catch up with him but this is no ordinary town: it's Deliverance in the Desert. Every year the citizens hold a special hunt: outsiders and local ne'er-do-wells are the prey.
The captives are let loose in the desert with a head start. As dawn breaks the local rednecks set off in pursuit, armed with sniper rifles, crossbows, shotguns and even a Negan style baseball bat wielded out of a car window.
