I think I'm just going to wait for the season ender.
Because the only scenes being shown actually on the island
in this episode amount to about three to five minutes.
The rest is video, of a trip they took to France to do research.
What they learned by going to France that will help them dig
on Oak Island is beyond me. But it is a good idea to get a free
trip to France. The things they learned could be learned
by a good researcher. Leaving them on the island to
actually work on finding whatever may be there. It's
getting more and more frustrating (for me) watching a
bunch people conducting meeting after meeting. I think
they could probably make two or three episodes out of all
the video of the actual work on the island. The rest is meetings
on the island, meetings in restaurants, riding in cars, meetings
with a lab coat obsessed professor at a Canadian University.
For some reason, she can't give them results until they put on
lab coats. She'll talk to them. But to get results. They have to
have lab coats on. Curious.
Touring castles is for people that watch the Travel Channel. This
is really starting to drag. I must be missing something. This
continues to be a popular show. I'll be damned if I know why.
They are not delivering on the hype.
