Indie satire

Warning: Spoilers
PREDATORS FROM BEYOND NEPTUNE is an indie satire that looks at Hollywood and the film-making process in general. It supposedly features stars such as Neve Campbell but their presence merely arises from scenes shot at public events in which they are filmed in the distance with cameras. The structure of this film is a mockumentary in which the film in question doesn't actually exist, but the interviewees mildly rib the kind of personalities you find in Hollywood. Ruthlessness and exploitation are the order of the day. I found it all rather obvious and not really on the same level as a film like THE PLAYER, which is no surprise given the tiny budget.
