Season 7 Episode 4 Starts with a man and wife holding hands in the water wearing Crosses around their necks.
The man is a Minister Steadman King . He starts off preaching to people seated under a tent about the power to heal. A lady he has known for years comes in with her nephew for a healing. She is having trouble seeing. The Minister gives her some holy water to drink from a cup and she falls to the ground after the Minster lays hands on her head for healing. The police are called. It is found out she died but not by natural causes.
There is a lot of bull in this. As a Christian this bothered me. In the end though the truth comes out about the so called "Christians" in this episode and Jesus is vindicated.
As an aside I noticed awhile back that JP Hooper the younger male cop always wears a string bracelet on his right wrist with a Cross hanging from it. He is never proclaimed a Christian in the series but he sure has the Spirit of one which I admire.
A new and funny part of this episode is a dog given to the police that wants to sleep all the time. The season with DI Mooney is pretty good. The rest of the police crew are always great.
